Well Dolce Vita is situated on the center of Valence it's approximatively at the end of the parallel street in front of the train station. For those walking around it will be just near the Victor Hugo shopping mall situated in the pedestrian street crossing the city.
We've spend 60 euro for 3, that includes a plate, a soft drink, and a Café Gourmand which had a lot of choices inside for a dessert, and the idea of eating a half and a half is quiet excellent.
What is it ?
Well on your plate you can have a half pizza, salad, gratin, etc.... So you don't have to make the choice between one of them you can eat a part of this one or this one or maybe this one wait why not this one, well you've understood it, YOU have the choice ! And the price is correct while quality is present, so we can say that the client is the real Winner !
Food was good and I'll turn back a day or another, but I don't have to forget to make a reservation if it's Friday or Saturday night.
Place is a bit small that's maybe the only minus I've seen when I've been there, it wasn't disturbing at all but some people may found it a bit anoying. -

The first time I went I ordered the Basilique pizza and was underwhelmed by the red sauce and especially by the fresh tomato slices. Cherry tomatoes would have been more flavorful. The cheese was excellent mozzarella though and had none of that stupid grated swiss cheese you commonly find here. I like this crust a lot better than the Petit Naples, it is thin, but has some flavor.
I'm glad I went back to give this a second shot. While I prefer tomato-based pizza I am traditionally disappointed with this in France. Once you've been to Kesté in the west village of NYC, well you are kind of ruined for pizza.
However, the second time I got a cream-based pizza... one with raviolis on it. I will just say that France does cream-sauce 100x better than they do red sauce. This didn't have the same impossible expectations to try to fulfill and was very satisfying. I would probably need to go back to Petit Naples to test there cream-based pizzas, but for now I think Dolce Vita is probably the best place to go to get a respectably authentic pizza in Valence.
